Practice without a fear of failure. That’s what I tell my students if they ask for advice on how to improve at math. That, and to get more sleep. 💤

I’ve been tutoring students from all walks of life for the past 15 years in subjects ranging from Algebra 1 to college-level math courses such as Linear Algebra and Differential Equations. My approach to teaching is a varying blend between the Socratic method and the didactic method depending on the student’s general disposition. Or their particular mood on that day. 😆

All tutoring sessions are conducted online through Zoom. My general recommendation is for students to meet with me once per week for one hour, so I can ensure that they stay on top of their course material. Students are highly encouraged to bring their questions and concerns – about math; I will defer to a therapist regarding all other matters – to each session, where they will either be answered in a direct manner, if I’m feeling rather didactic that day, or in a more roundabout way, if I’ve decided to channel my inner Socrates. On the ever-growing chance that your query bests the both of us, as there is always something new to learn even about the most hashed-out subject, Google will be consulted. Either way, we will get to the bottom of it.

And now, the logistical dump. I only tutor math. I only tutor on a one-on-one basis. I only tutor online. Payments can be made at the beginning or end of each session. Payments can also be made in advance for the month if you don’t want to bother with multiple payments over the month; I will keep diligent track of your credits, I promise. 🙏 And payments can be made either through Zelle or Venmo.
